Desalto presents itself at the Salone del Mobile with a new setup that combines the latest proposals for upholstered furniture, integrated and expanded, with the new products in metal, the company’s main material. It also offers a wide range of new materials, colors, finishes and fabrics with a view to total customization of the product.

Desalto confirms its participation in the Salone del Mobile in Milan with a new stand designed by Francesco Rota, in his third year as artistic director of the brand. A path that has already left its mark and that saw the company’s entry into the world of upholstered furniture, with a distinctive and recognizable approach.

The underlying theme of the 2024 campaign and of all the company’s communication was, not by chance, “Desalto goes soft”. A project that saw the proposal of the first collections last year - Clip, Unlimited and Roller, all designed by Francesco Rota - : an original and unconventional interpretation of upholstery to complete the collections of tables, chairs and bookcase systems that constitute the core of the Desalto catalogue. In this edition of the Salone, the Unlimited and Clip projects are expanded and integrated with new elements starting to become real complex systems, also able to respond to broader needs for customization and furnishing of living areas in the residential sector, to the point of proposing themselves as valid proposals for the contract sector.

The stand’s design conveys a clear message through the interplay of geometric, sculptural forms in metal furnishings and the softness of upholstered pieces, as well as the contrast between austere finishes and bold colors. The exhibition space is structured with partition walls reminiscent of industrial grids, made from raw or painted metal in Desalto blue. Beyond showcasing individual collections, the stand conveys a comprehensive and multifaceted environment, creating a powerful visual impact and a recognizable brand identity.
