Reimagined as Yirranma Place, the precinct now hosts the headquarters of the Paul Ramsay Foundation. The building has been sensitively adapted to offer flexible spaces for a range of functions, from galleries and event spaces to meeting rooms and hubs, welcoming all visitors with a particular focus on accessibility and diversity.
Light renovations reflect the guiding principle of recognizing and celebrating past forms through a sequence of beautiful spaces within the existing shell – the new additions are sculptural, robust, and respectful of the heritage fabric. The architectural style of Carlo Scarpa, known for his ability to unite old and new in spiritual spaces, provides inspiration for contemporary finishes and forms with a timeless quality.
